Services, fees and rebates from January 2025
*Medicare rebate through the Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or Better Access initiative. You can obtain this plan from your GP. A MHCP allows you to claim a partial rebate on up to 10 individual and 10 groups visits in a calendar year. These sessions can be face-to-face or telehealth. After your 6th individual session your Psychologist will write a letter to your referrer updating them on your progress and recommending the further 4 individual sessions. Your referrer may then provide a MHCP Review plan for the remaining 4 individual sessions for the year.
Private Health Funds. Please contact your private health insurance provider to obtain details about rebates.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact admin by phone 48 business hours prior to your sheduled appointment time. Clients who fail to attend their appointment or cancel within 48 business hours of their appointment, will be charged 75% of the fee. It is important that cancellations are notified during business hours, as this gives admin the opportunity to reschedule your appointment and offer your cancellation to another client on our waiting list.
Please note: If you are unwell or have flu-like symptoms, please let us know so we can arrange for a telehealth session for you.
Regular cancellation: If you have 2 or more late cancellations within a 6 month period we will be in touch to discuss phasing down or terminating the frequency of your appointments. Please know that we require all accounts to be settled on the day of service.
