E-learning Support

Coming in 2025...

Finding you: I’m not just a mum!

At Rise & Thrive Psychology we believe that all mothers should be given the opportunity to thrive in their role as a mother and not at the expense of their personal identity. Through our self-paced e-learning guide and videos we teach you skills and strategies to reconnect with yourself to increase your confidence in your role as a mother, bring clarity to your decision making, and promote calmness within yourself. We specifically aim to promote emotional wellbeing, during the period known as ‘matrescence’* and including the early childhood phase. Adjusting to motherhood is difficult, but we are all capable. We believe that making mistakes is healthy, it is how we deal with these mistakes that can make a significant difference. This e-learning guide is designed so you can learn skills such as grounding, mindfulness, journaling and self-reflection to promote emotional wellbeing.

* As defined by Alexandra Sacks, MD, Psychiatrist, New York – as being the “developmental transition into motherhood.” https://www.ted.com/speakers/alexandra_sacks
